Ouside of weemee and simpsons, I have also recreated myself as a zwinky. I really need to focus a little more on work, but the internet is SO MUCH FUN! I n all honesty, once again, not too far from the actual appearance of me...hippy...however, I do seem to have recreated myself as a tad bit younger than my actual self....no crime in that. We are how we feel. I feel a littel zwinky today!

Ok, so the hubby and I attended a Vikings game on Sunday. Vikes vs. Colts. Anyway, I barely follwed the game since I was completely distracted by the fact the that the (larger) man sitting in front of me continually pushed his rump out over the back of his seat, when returning to the sitting position, (after all, live football is like Catholic church), and would bump my straw with his rump. (the cup holders at the dome are right behind the seat ahead of you). This didn't concern me quite as much as the fact that he had small hairs all over his sweater which I just waited to "snow" like fall into my beverage. Needless to say: gulp gulp gulp-problem solved! I would have taken a picture of this entire saga had it not been for the anouncement over the PA stateing that innapproriate cell phone picture takers would be escorted from the dome. You will just have to use your imagination. I will add though, I could have taken the media security guy who looked to be about 14 and weigh about 120.......yep, could have taken him!

Can you believe that a whole year has passed? The funny farm is quite today, and I am pleasantly alone! Here are the spring chickens off to their daily learning coop! (I will miss the squacking...yeah right!)

Resolution revisited!

OK, so obviously my whole year has crept by and left me hanging by the fact that I have not kept up with my New Year's resolution. (good thing I don't believe in them!) The kids are off to school again and I will post the pics soon. (I really will) The youngest, (and FINAL) took her first steps onto the bus with pride and refused to let her siblings share the "kindergarten" seat on the bus. She will always rule the roost! My classes have started too, I didn't hop with such anticipated glee onto the bus, but drove the "not-a-mom-mobile" purple car uncharicteristically slow to join the other late bloomers...not that I have reached full bloom! I will graduate in February. I have never looked so forward to a minnesota winter on the funny farm.

My one and only New Year resolution is to blog more often and post pictures. (afterall, this is supposed to be for friends to check up on what is going on at the funny farm). Personally, I don't believe in New Year resolutions. If you want to change something, do it when you think about it....Jan 1st is just another day...no procrastination!

Party at the Sister's

Ok, so this past weekend was the long awaited party of the sister and brother-in-law. (OMG-seriously sweet smelling man) Outside of a spontanious Miller 5 reunion, http://www.planetdan.net/pics/miller5/,It was a great time! We had the opportunity to spend a littel October time out in the 87 degree weather. I , however, got a little too close to nature when a bee flew up my skirt and stung me in the ...um...badonka donk. To remedy the pain, I am handed a bowl of bee paste which I immediately reach up my skirt to apply. (We are talking major pain in the rear folks, no time for privacy.) The man coming in from outside quickly decided he would tour the house another time. The next pleasure was the small ice bag I was given to "sit upon". This was also thrust up my skirt with no qualms over who was watching and sat on. On my first move to stand up, the ice bag breaks and I am left standing with the melted ice water running down my leg. At least my brother's roommate offered to wet herself too so I wouldn't be alone. Gracious and gorgoues that roommate, and no, I didn't take her up on the offer!

Sally

Tonight it will be cake and icecream to celebrate the life of our dearly loved "Sally". Her passing was a quiet and peaceful one. No other guinea pig was ever loved more! (of course, not until this weekend when we run out to buy another one.) This was proven by the fact that the $34 ball of fur cost us $89 at the vet for a devastating ear infection. She recovered from her headtilting, one leg dragging infection only to kiss us goodbye weeks later. We are sure she is happy now among our other loved lost ones...The 2 hamsters, 1 gerbil, and the gecko......fertilizing the farmland.

It is a pink world sweety, every day is a "happy" day! The happy day worth noting today was the first day of school,(and daycare). I am sharing a picture of my five cherubs waiting for the bus. (and 2 neighbor kids, because as you know-the more the merrier.) This was also my first day back to school. I, however did not take the bus or get a shiny new outfit to anounce my presence in class. I got a stack of new heavy books and fuzzy ended pens which, of course, says "SistaK is here." Hope you all enjoyed your first day back to what I prefer to call the "funny farm" fall harvest schedule!
