Sally

Tonight it will be cake and icecream to celebrate the life of our dearly loved "Sally". Her passing was a quiet and peaceful one. No other guinea pig was ever loved more! (of course, not until this weekend when we run out to buy another one.) This was proven by the fact that the $34 ball of fur cost us $89 at the vet for a devastating ear infection. She recovered from her headtilting, one leg dragging infection only to kiss us goodbye weeks later. We are sure she is happy now among our other loved lost ones...The 2 hamsters, 1 gerbil, and the gecko......fertilizing the farmland.

Happy Day!

It is a pink world sweety, every day is a "happy" day! The happy day worth noting today was the first day of school,(and daycare). I am sharing a picture of my five cherubs waiting for the bus. (and 2 neighbor kids, because as you know-the more the merrier.) This was also my first day back to school. I, however did not take the bus or get a shiny new outfit to anounce my presence in class. I got a stack of new heavy books and fuzzy ended pens which, of course, says "SistaK is here." Hope you all enjoyed your first day back to what I prefer to call the "funny farm" fall harvest schedule!
